Zendan

Prison of idea or Zendan is my first attempt at inviting another method of stringing with pottery art..

This piece is a concept that is based on a specific point of view on amateur pottery with the help of string art. 

The original project design was started in December 2019 and was finished 2 months later. 

The original model’s dimensions are 15cm * 15cm. It is composed of 1 wooden circle and is pierced by a total of 64 holds.

Zendan is an experimental design, that means that while designing and creating the original work, I made mistakes until I found the final version that satisfied me. It’s not for sale.

There is the possibility of renting the first sculpture for an exhibition, an art gallery or a museum, please contact me for more information.
